Meet Our Team: __________________________ Dan Hartman, PsyD (Owner) Education: Doctorate in Psychology, Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University (APA approved), 1986. Background and Experience: Dr. Hartman has developed inpatient, outpatient, and day hospital programs. He has been a licensed psychologist since 1987 and has trained and supervised therapists since 1989. Dr. Hartman began his practice with the Cloud-Townsend Clinic in 1986 in California, moving to Seattle in 1991 and developing a clinic for Cloud-Townsend prior to joining the Meier Clinics. Special Interests & Services: Dr. Hartman enjoys working with clients dealing with the full spectrum of anxiety and depressive disorders as he sees these woven through the difficulties and stresses of life. Dr. Hartman enjoys the challenge of difficult diagnostic clarification and complex cases. His training in Psychology and Theology and integrating spirituality and relationship are deep passions of his. He works with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. Background & Experience: Carol has worked in inpatient facilities and as Executive Director of a national organization addressing substance abuse, suicide prevention, and sexual issues, reaching millions of students. Specialties: Carol created the Love Knot program for healing relationships and offers tailored therapy for couples, families, and individuals. She also runs therapy groups to practice relational skills. Background & Experience: Kathie joined Meier Clinics in 2020, bringing experience from business, non-profits, and church settings. She has worked with marginalized communities in Mexico, Cambodia, and China, and mentored women and youth for over 20 years. She uses EMDR, IFS, EFT, and CBT to help clients heal. Specialties & Services: Kathie specializes in anxiety, depression, grief, transitions, trauma, and healing from shame-based wounds, guiding clients from powerlessness to hope. Background & Experience: Kelly began as a lay counselor at her local church and completed an externship at Meier Clinics in 2011. She has worked in the Catalyst Day Program, as Day Program support, lead intake specialist, and outpatient therapist. Kelly specializes in ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders, using a solution-focused approach to help clients leverage their strengths. Specialties & Services: Kelly offers individual therapy for adults with ADHD and leads a weekly ADHD group focused on practical skills like time management, motivation, and emotional control. The group consists of 10 flexible sessions. She uses CBT, Interpersonal techniques, Creative Expressive Arts Therapy, Object Relations theory, and Family Systems therapy. Additional Info: As an American-born Chinese, Nicole bridges cultural gaps and is sensitive to cross-cultural dynamics. She integrates a Biblical perspective for clients who hold Christian beliefs.
